Where would we be without mothers? I for one wouldn't want to know. I just wanted to take a minute and pay tribute to the wonderful mothers in my life.
First of all to my mother Jean- she truly makes this world a better place just by being in it. She is not only beautiful on the outside, she's even more beautiful on the inside. She is the most giving and generous person I know. She is my best friend and I just love and adore her so much. She is an incredible mother and grandmother and we are lucky to have her. I hope to be just like her!
Brandon was blessed with two wonderful mothers who did an amazing job raising him. They taught him wonderful work ethics, love and respect. Even better they taught him how to clean and do the dishes! I'm so lucky to have them both as my mother-in-law.
Then there's my granny orton who has been there for me my entire life. I don't have many memories of my childhood that don't have her in them. We were blessed to just live one street away from her growing up and it was so fun. She is genuine, loving, hilariously funny (sometimes crude and dirty) but those are some of my best memories of her. I didn't have a picture with my grandma Owens, she's been gone for about 8 years but I would feel ungrateful if I didn't include her in this tribute. She was so special to me and I love and miss her terribly.
