Last week was our annual Orton reunion at Otter Creek. If you know me well, you know I don't really care for the outdoors, and now that Brandon is in scouts and has purchased a ton of camping gear, he insisted that we stay in a tent and not in the usual trailer. Let me just say that 4 days is WAY too long!!! For the most part we had a great time, the weather was nice in the morning and the evenings but for some reason the wind would blow ridiculously hard from about 1-5 everyday. That made it a little hard to entertain ourselves and all the grandkids when we couldn't be in the water. Granny Orton who is 86 made it up on Saturday and decided that since she had never been out in a boat or driven a 4 wheeler that she better try it this year. I feel awful I didn't get a picture of her on the 4 wheeler driving it or while she actually drove the boat, hopefully someone else got it and I can copy it. Next year she insists that she wants to be pulled on the tube.... I might just have to go again to see that!
A huge thanks to Brandon for all his help. He planned the menu, assigned everyone cooking and cleaning duties, yet somehow he ended up helping with every meal. He is so good to me and my family and we are super lucky that he chose to be a part of our "Crazy Orton Clan"

Aimee and me

This last picture is due to the Park Ranger coming over and warning our camp twice that the kids had to have helmets on to ride the 4 wheelers, to be funny Aimee and I put on the kids helmets to ride over to the little store to grab ice.
I didn't know you stayed in a tent - way to go girl you are moving up in the camping world! Looks like fun even though the weather wasn't the best. I just love your family. Well glad you had fun, thanks Torie for all your help with everything. You are the greatest!
